it's sucks.

It sucks when something bad happens to someone special. This boy was special to everyone he met. He died in a swimming accident. Our whole school is heartbroken.

Oh this is gross! the things they find joy in. Because of all the rain we now have a large amount of snails out and about.

Recital day!!!

Today was recital day!! Since we had the top down on the jeep G had to be wrapped so her hair wouldn't go anywhere. With as much glue as I put in her hair it didn't move an inch!

This is the hallway near the room where we waited. Nicole, one of the other mother's, was dancing with the girls and going over their routines with them













These photos were from their first number, It's a small world. Their teacher, Miss Carolyn, was in the upper lever of the auditorium dancing with them so they'd see the movements. That's why all their eyes are looking up to heaven!












Every girl received a trophy at the end!

Got a new sticker....

I got a new sticker for my car. Dh says it's tasteful (compared to the original one I thought about getting then decided not to.) The original went across the whole front windshield and was 2 inches tall..same wording. You probably want to click on the picture to see it!

Damce Recital Rehearsal!

Dance Recital rehearsal was last night. There are three classes that are all performing during this one recital time> Actually there are about 400 kids performing throughout the day- we just have one hour blocked off for our section. G is in the smallest class- smallest kids and smallest in numbers. She's performing three dances, one to Bibbity Bobbity Boo and one to It's a Small World. She's also in the last performance of I just Can't Wait to Be King with all three classes combined. The
recital is Saturday!!

For mother's day

G brought this home from school. SHe'd made it in class. I got to hold it for about 2 minutes and then she wanted it back. It disappeared for a couple of hours and then came back with just the cup. Lol the flower went mia. SHe went on a hunt and then came back a couple hours later with the flower and cup and a sordid story about a dog, her brother, and spider man. who knows? lol Now it's safely sitting in my windowsill in the kitchen. Let's see if spidey can reach there!

Prom!

Prom was fantastic! It is amazing to see how cleaned up these kids get and gorgeous they can behave. And then you see them on the dance floor! lol I had a wonderful time watching everyone.
All the dresses were gorgeous...many new shades this year that I'd not seen so much. I saw several peacock dresses, one that had actual feathers on it! wowza! Attached is the Eiffel tower in ice. It was the carving in the serving room. It was gorgeous! When I get pics of me in my dress I'll be sure to add them!

Finally!!!

After 4 and a half months of this dress sitting in her closet she finally decided to wear it today! yay!! of course it's right before bed so she will only wear it a little while but hopefully she'll wear it a bit more often than once ever 4 months! she's got four gorgeous dresses in the closet just sitting there waiting!

What a weekend!!

It's been an awesome weekend! We went riding Friday night to go check out Reuben's new job location. It was gorgeous...lots of stars, cool breezes, great music! Nicolas' favorite song right now is the Wooo weee song. (Gwen Stefani's Wouldn't it be Sweet) G is loving Into the Ocean. (Turn your speakers up and you can hear it!) We went driving a bit yesterday as well running around to do errands but taking the long way! This afternoon was spent in the pool! Life is good!

Nicolas and I are working to get the right combination of products to create a good spike! so far we are working with this spray and it seems to be working well!!
